Priscila Sá, 22 years old (at 2019), is one of the names of the portuguese gypsy community that stands out, graduated in Law and currently completing the internship at the Portuguese Bar Association, admits to having already omitted her identity, sporadically, in her personal life. “We have to be cautious, strategic, to understand what kind of person we are dealing with. If I know that the fact of saying that I am a gypsy will condition someone, I prefer not to say it ”, confesses the young woman.
Already in academic life, which she has fulfilled smoothly and with beautiful notes, she has never been forced to hide anything. “I have always been very supported. People have always adored and admired me for being a pioneer, for not having examples to do what I have been doing”, says Priscila proudly. Her parents stayed with basic education and became fair dealers, but she soon knew that she wanted to be a lawyer.
