Bianca Martins transformed old sewing machines into supports for the tables in the main room.
And she went to get wooden chairs to a warehouse in Vila do Conde.
A trip to the past, in a bright, contemporary space that invites you to spend some time, to what they called Negra Cafe (Black Coffee).
From generous sliced cakes to equally well served sandwiches, passing through the smoothie bowls, everything is made with natural ingredients, says Bianca. "We always wanted to have a coffee, a space for the day, and wanted to make a difference for homemade cakes."
The "red velvet and the undercooked chocolate cake - which we have to always have", as well as the pitaya smoothie bowl, are, let's call them, house specialties.
